K8095 button problem

Hello!

I have a problem with my K8095 mp3 player kit (no LCD). I received a package in the beginning of december and recently assembled it. The picture of the unit on the box and manual is different from main PCB schematics and actual assembled kit.

SW4 button dublicates SW1 button function and doesn’t bring volume up at all. Cannot find what could be the problem, I think I checked everything. I guess the problem could be in a controller firmware. Could you give some troubleshooting advice, please.
SW4 button dublicates SW1 button function and doesn’t bring volume up at all…
Please check the value of R16. Should be 560 ohms.

I rechecked all resistors - they work properly. Is there anything else I can check?

If you have a multimeter then you can check the voltage over R23.
Press buttons and check the voltage for every button SW1 to SW6.

Problem is solved. Thank you for the hints.

I soldered switches too low on PCB, thus got extra ground contact. I think somewhere in the manual should be mentioned about not to do so.

Thank you for the feedback concerning the soldering of the buttons.
It’s good to see that you got the K8095 working now!
