K8090 Timer-Settings: strange behaviour when set to zero

Hello,

when a relay-timer on the board is set to zero and then started, it fires (!) and counts down from the maximum timespan possible: FFFFh

A really strange behaviour - I expected, that a preset to zero (0000h) means, that the timer is disabled !

Am I wrong ?

The question is: how must the timer be set to not fire, even if a “StartTimer”-command is received ?
If possible - at all …
