K8090
I bought a K8090 relay board kit with the intention of controlling loads using the iphone app. However, when I look it up in the iTunes store or on the phone itself, it says the app is not available in the United States. Does anyone else know about this or how to get the app?
The creator of the app did not renew his iOS Developer Program subscription, so the app was taken down. We will probably be putting that app up again soon, so that is good news for you

Hi ILE_497, Vellerman has just released the client-software for the Ipad so you can download it directly on your device; I’ve just got one question, can you please send me on my email (seanfilipin@gmail.com) the server application for windows because finally I was eable to download the app but now I’ve got trouble with the server.

From what i know about the server, you need to edit the ini file that comes with the server
Hi, what do you mean by “editing an ini file”? When the wireless system was buided by philippe milagro the server was a little software that was costantly listening and waiting for incoming connections…
I had it once but then I lost the installation file and so now I’m LOST; I just can’t find the file anymore…
One more thing I was up to ask, if this thing that I’m asking for is not anymore availeble could you all guys create something that could work a server on my computer so that I can remotely control the module… PLEASE
Last but not least, i wanted to ask VEL448 where do I need to go after opening the page you linked me to? Because I always see written “needs the server to work - download it from the support site…”
Now… I do see the support link on the Itunes page but that links me to the vellerman page and then nothing. PLEASE, if you could find what i’m searching for that would be great !!!

I got it working!!! I found the server application in my hard drive dated something like 1 year ago!
It was the application that the programmer that didn’t renew his IOS Developer Program Subscription created for windows and it works perfectly with the app developed by Velleman nv (their’re the same…).
If you need it I can create a simple site to distribuite the file that makes everything much simpler! It Just does everything by itself (you just need to set up the IP and the COM ports); it listens on the computer’s IP and accepts connections from the Ipad/Iphone and gives the command to the relay card! It’s great !

I actually discovered the app the other night and put it on the iphone. However, when I tried my IP address in the app, it just kept saying “server not responding”. If there is a simple fix to make this work that does not involve any more downloads of anything, please let me know. Otherwise, I’m not losing any sleep over it at the moment.

I solved Just finding the server application that the ex-IOS programmer created that was on my PC. It’s a really simple application that doesn’t need to be installed and it just does everything itself! You just need to configure your’e IP and The COM port on which the relay card is connected to!!!
It’s just to simple!

My server won’t install, it comes up with a message “can not initialize the the card! verify connexion”

For the server IP i put my 10.1.1.6 address given by my router and on my phone i put my ISP given address. Is this ok? Because on my phone it’s still saying “can’t find server”

I think the IPaddress it’s looking for is the IPaddress of the local machine.

I’m running vista.
My server IP Address is 10.1.1.6 which is the laptop address on my home network.
But the app immediately comes up with server not reaponding when i try to activate a relay.
My app IP is my network IP.
Help!
