Is it possible to connect the K8089 to a KNX/EIB analog output 0-20 mA, or must i use a 0-10V output ? I have a project in a hotel for visualisate the pool temp. I have a temp. indication in the technical room of the pool on KNX/EIB. The distance between sensor and display is about 50m. So i was thinking to use the digital information and converse it to a analog output (GIRA for exemp.) near the display. I just need the temp. range between ± 23°C and ± 30°C. Maybe callibrate on 25°C with a resistor-bridge to obtain a 100% correct read-out?
K8089 needs a 0…20mA current to display -20…+70°C
If your current source has an adjustable offset and gain, it can most likely be used.
