K8074: COM port issue

My K8074 sender hardware works fine.
After connecting the sender to my USB port and installing the driver my computer relates automatically COM PORT 13 to the device.
Seems logical to me: all other COM ports seems to be in use.
So I encounter a major issue: the demo software can only address COM PORTS between 1 and 6. :frowning: Much too low.
I’ve tried another computer ( Windows Vista + 7): same problem.

Does somebody has the same experience? Maybe a solution…?
I am blocked with this project.

Although this update has been put on the TODO-list, an exact time for a software update for this item has not been fixed yet.

In the Delphi demo executable you can now enter an arbitrary com port, like ‘COM13’
