K8062 stand-alone test

Hello , the stand-alone test at my DMX USB Interface K8062 does not do what it should . After connecting a 9V battery I press the button shortly SW1 . Thereafter, the Power LED turns on and stays on. The DMX LED will flash 3 times and then blink a little faster constant on. By SW1 I can no longer influence the blink rate . Off I can stand the test by pressing the button for about 10 seconds . I think that this procedure is not okay . What can I do ?

The DMX code sent from the connector should change (increase) every time the test button is pressed.
