K8061 dll problems

hi, im using the k8061 with windows vista. when i debug my program’s the first run is fine, but when i close the debug window and then try to debug it again it takes 5 seconds or so for the " card connected " label to show and even longer for “usb and cpu ok” labels to show. the entire thing then quite often stops responding. only cure is to reconnect usb and power.

have read some topics and changed dlls to ver 3 0 0 1 but no change

have i got the latest dlls ???

Yes, the 3.0.0.1 is the latest DLL version.
Please check in the Device manager that you are using the driver version 1.0.0.6.
This driver is included to the package “Complete software package edition 2011” on the download page: velleman.eu/distributor/supp … 8061&type=

i have the correct driver version in device manager,

i had a pop up saying " vshost32.exe stopped responding "

if that helps ???

This is strange problem.
What program and what version are you using to develop your application?

i use visual basic 2008 express edition for my applications,
version 9.0.30729.1 SP

dotnet framework ver 3.5 Sp1

Ps. i did not instal ra4 on the k8061 board to avoid the voltage drop on the analog inputs, this was advised by one of the moderators on this forum, think it might of been you vel 255 as i have had lots of help from you in the past. many thanks, didn,t know if this might make a difference ?

I’m using also Visual basic 2008 Express Version 9.0.30729.1 SP
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 3.5 SP1
without any problems.

The missing RA4 has nothing to do with the problems you encountered.
The problem is still strange and I’m sorry there is no solution to solve it.

am i the only person with this problem ???
if so then maybe its this clapped out old laptop, or i have damaged the k8061 itself
