Hello!
I bought a few days ago the Velleman K8061 card and have the following problem:
I just do not get connection from the program on the map. The test program is running on it on the CD in the startup program smoothly, but the earlier test programs do not run at all, since the test program always says card not found, such as the test program on the CD from the map K8055.
Maybe I’ve also soldered, but I can not imagine there running a program.
I use the following program Borland C + + Builder and Windows Vista have 32 bit.
In advance thank you ever.
P.S. I have the translated with Google translator from German to English.
Have you installed the Vista driver from the CD?
If not, then on the CD go to the folder: \K8061 extended USB interface\Vista ready software.
There is Vista driver in the folder: \K8061 extended USB interface\Vista ready software\Driver.
Install it.
There on the CD is also a subfolder \BCB. There you’ll find Borland C++Builder example project.
Note:
The k8061.lib file in the BCB folder is an old one and doesn’t work properly.
Here is a link to download the new k8061.lib file: box.net/shared/3ltsgd1f2l
Replace the original k8061.lib in the BCB project folder with this one and recompile the project.
Then it should run without any problems.
also does not work!
As said before the connection is to the computer, but I can not run sample programs to get out of the folders that are on the CD, as he always tells me the label card not found, only the program that in the Start menu works.
Have you checked in the Device Manager that you really have the driver version 6.0.1.0 (dated 05/22/2007) installed?
If OK, then you may try to run the K8061_Demo.exe in the CD folder \K8061 extended USB interface\Vista ready software\Delphi.
If the card is not found then you have to check the hardware.
Is the RUN LED, LD12 lit?
Is the RX/TX LED, LD11 lit (but not as bright as the RUN LED) ?
The driver is ok!
The Delphi version does too.
The LED 12 lights up bright and the LED 11 lights very weak.
If I then start the Borland program it gives me out some values and it does not matter if I have connected the card at the computer or not!
Everything seems to be OK.
There is a bug in the Borland C++ Builder example:
The k8061.lib file is wrong version.
Here is a link to download the correct k8061.lib file: box.net/shared/3ltsgd1f2l
Replace the original k8061.lib in the BCB project folder with this one and then open and compile the project.
Then it should run without any problems.
Thank you!!It works!! I am so happy!!It was the wrong driver on the CD and i have installed the driver from the K8055 card CD and change the K8061.lip, and now works yeeha!!!
