K8061 communication with PC stopped working

Hi,

I have used VM140 (K8061) as a PC I/O interface.
Now suddenly after several months of testing and nice time, the card open call OpenDevice return -2, No Card found.

First, old K8061 drivers were reassembled but no help.
Secondly, the card was tested with a other computer (all using XP pro SP3) with the original dll and it works fine.
Finally, the new K6061_Vistapack2007_V1.zip was assembled to orginal setup and with it arise questions:

After installation we quickly tested connection with VB6 environment and it was a surprise that VB6 K8061_Demo.exe find the card (0) but the K8061_Demo.vbp project file could not. Return value was -2 which is in the ‘range’.
Quick test with Delphi-exe file worked as well. Also card address worked with the tested exe-files.

Can you please advise how to get the VM140 card working again?

It seems you have the original K8061.DLL in the Windows\System32 folder (or in Windows folder).
Just delete it (K8061.DLL).
When done, the K8061_Demo.vbp will use the K8061.DLL in the VB folder of the Vistapack.
