i have built the k8060 kit twice.
a have a problem wit one of them,
when i turn on the power,
all seems ok, it works but the soundquallity is verry bad.
and then when i turn it of the led turns of within a few seconds.
the other kit is working fine,and it’s led stays on for +/_ 30 minutes after shutting of the power.
I use the reccomended powersupply. the 12030.
d you have anny cleu what this can be?

Most likely a problem in the bias circuit. Maybe transistors have been mixed up.
Check your assembly. Compare with working item.

my ‘‘plan’’ is to build my own apmlifier using 2 k8060’s
in combination with the P8084-1 pre-amp.
I want to build this all together in a 19’’ casing.
my question:
should i replace the RCA output with a direct wire link to the in/ground of the K8060’s ?
I am thinking about intergating the new K8098 into ‘‘my system’’,
Is this possible?

Replacing the RCA’s is a good idea.
Beware of hum loops when you wire your assembly.
Could you let us know what the problem was, this could be useful for other users.
The MP3 player can be used with the K8060.
