K8060 + K8084 for bass guitar amplifier

Hello, I was just wondering if a K8084 would be good to drive the K8060 in a bass amp application, and if so, how should I go about powering it? I would like to mount the two kits into one box as a traditional guitar/bass amp head. The K8060 will have a 2x 30VAC transformer, but I understand the K8084 needs 2x 12VAC - will it need a separate transformer, or is there any way I can somehow connect to the 8060’s supply and drop the voltage down to 12?

For best results, we’d recommend two transformers.

Could you confirm that the K8084 would work okay in a bass amp application? I am aware there is a mono-preamp kit available which will allow me to increase the gain, but I would like the ability to adjust bass and treble also, hence the 8084.
