K8056 not reacting on incoming DATA

Hello,

A couple of weeks ago i bought the k8056 relais board and assembled it according the manual.
Everything is working fine when using the test button, all the relais are switching 1 by 1 correctly.

But, when i try to use the example software from the velleman website to switch the relais over rs232 there is no reaction at all.

I checked all the power circuits and they seem ok, i checked the PIN 4 on the PIC to see if the data i sent is actually being received by the PIC, and also this was OK, i don’t know what else to check, the correct data is arriving on PIN 4 of the PIC and all the circuits are OK, but the data led stays off and there is no reaction at all.

What could be the problem?

The data led lights when the received data format is OK, regardless of correct address.
Make sure incoming RS232-signal polarity and level is correct.

I checked everything again but still couldnt find it, afterwards i installed a program called Light24Pro and this worked directly, still cannot get the Velleman included software to work but atleast i know it isn’t a problem with the hardware, now i will take my time to write my own program!
