Please check if JP1 is “ON”, because there was an error in the 1st. rev. of the manual.
You can always download the latest manual at the product page.
If this wasn’t the problem, there must be an assembly or setting error.
I tried all jumpersettings, also JP1 on
I assembled this for school and my 2 teachers checked everything and they told me it’s very good assembled. (I’ve got 19/20)
Do I maybe have to address the K8056?
How do I know on wich adress the card is?
It is possible that you have accidently set the card to address ‘0’.
By means of the PC software, enter ‘0’ in the box above ‘show addr.’ and select ‘1’ in the box ‘change addr.’. next, click ‘change addr.’
Now it should set the card address back to ‘1’, which is accessible trough software.

That doesn’t help much :s
What else could it be?
A dead component?
Maybe it’s this:
ZD1(the +) and R18 are soldered on each other.
If I look at the shematic diagram then, I think they are otherwise conencted too.
Hmm, after a better look, I think - of ZD1 have to be connected?
Could you tell me what’s right?
Also T6(the middle pin)and R15 are conencted but I’m quite sure they have to be conencted.
LD10 should only light when valid RS232 data comes in.

Please return your card for inspection/repair.
You can return it to your distributor or you can send it to the address mentioned in the manual.
