K8056 Connection problem?

Hi guys,

I searched on this forum a bit around, but couldn’t find the solve for my problem.

I wrote some code in VB2005, which I copied from this forum. There is data coming out of the serial cable, bus the data LED doesnt light up on the board . The test button is working perfect. (so i guess the board is fine too)

I am using an USB to Serial Converter cable (PCUSB6) from Velleman as well. Could that be the problem?

Please try with our test software, to make sure emitted code string is OK.
Check board settings (remote control on, RS232 connection, high impedance).
Check connection. Make sure RS232 arrives on board. Make sure GND and signal are not inverted.
