I wish to use the K8055 to generate an output of 5 volt DC which will be fed to another device
I’ve set up the K8055 system to be controlled by another device
Does anyone have any ideas what’s the easiest way to acheive a 5V DC output

If you want o get +5V out from the digital output you have to add there pull-up resistors to +5V.

Hi,

Could you describe (in detail) how this would be done. I posted a detailed description of my problem in another thread (http://forum.velleman.eu/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4057).

I’m into mechanics and software, I tolerate electronics, but don’t really understand how to design them.
