K8055 Windows Server 2008 "USB device not recognized"

Hi, does anyone else have the problem with Windows Server 2008 and the message “USB device not recognized” when they plug the board in.

All works fine up to Vista, any help would be appreciated.

Did you get a fix for this, I have the same issue, works ok on server 2003, windows 7 (64bit), but I get device not recognised on server 2008 R2

Hi abagas,

Ended up ditching the K8055 and buying a VM167 to do the job, works a treat under Windows 7 and Server 2008 32bit and 64 bit and using it under VMware with very few changes to the software, it’s driving a K8067 temperature module, 3 relay boards and power state.
