the pwm output is supposed to have a fixed frequency of 23.43khz. i cannot get any reading by connecting my meter to gnd and the pwm output. can anybody suggest what is wrong here. i know my meter is working o.k.
should the other lead be connected somewhere else other than ground? the analog outputs are set to max=4.75 volts. my meter is auto ranging to 99.99khz
The PWM output is an open collector output. You have to add a pull-up resistor from the output to external voltage source.
Set the analog output to 2.5V to get 50% duty cycle from the PWM output.
