Configuration:
No Resistors on R8 and R9
I placed the 2 Bridges
SK5 and SK6 are bridged
Nothing else is connect to the card - only the USB
But when I connect the K8055 to the Computer, the Power LD11 lights and the LD8 begin to blink. Then LD8 also lights.
And Windows don’t know what to do with the USB-Interface and want’s to have drivers.
If you look in the Device Manager under the “Universal Serial Bus controllers”, do you see any “Unknown Device” there?
Or, is there under the “Human Interface Devices” any device appearing when you connect the USB cable to the K8055 card?
Can you test the card in other PC?
You can try to diagnose the system with the USBView.EXE program.
The result of the K8055 USB connection data should look like this:
USBView is a free utility from Microsoft that displays the USB connection tree and shows the USB devices that are connected to it together with their configuration data. This is very useful for debugging USB enumeration errors.
OK. The card is not defective.
Now the Windows XP needs the driver update.
Can you locate the device in the Device Manager.
If yes, double click it and then select the Driver tab and click Update Driver.
OK - I edited the post and you had the ‘old’ version visible.
BTW: Did you locate the input.inf file in the Windows\inf folder or did you copy the file from other PC?
