K8055 + Telephone Ring Detector

Hello
Firstly please excuse my ignorance, i am a complete amateur and am not very clued up at all on electronics.

I am wondering if it is possible for someone to explain a solution for the following

I wish to take the relay output from the Ring Detector K8086 and send this signal to the K8055 Digital input. Specifically number 2 as i have a program which listens to this channel.

If someone has a simple explanation of how this could work i would be most grateful.

The K8055’s digital inputs are designed to be connected to a switch, relay or open collector. Just connect SK3 of the K8086 to GND and whichever digital input you want.
