I have a P8055-1 which has been working fine.
now when i connect the USB out8 flashes then remains on.
What does this mean as I cannot communicate with the board?

The USB “enumeration” fails.
The problem may be in the USB cable or connectors.
There may also be some sort of operating system problem. Have you updated anything recently?
Can you test the card in other PC?

I tried another machine and it works.
I then tried my laptop using a powered USB hub, that also works.
