I have a K8055 board, which I’m very pleased with - having assembled it yesterday.
I’ve managed to program it from Visual Fox pro, which is also very handy.
I was wondering if it was possible to readback the current status of the digital outputs.
At the moment, I am simply reseting them and keeping track, but if I could read them
that would be even better.

Using VFP makes it really, really, easy to create data based applications
and to integrate it (the board) with a web site or whatever…
I can see there is no function in the DLL to readback the values, but is
it likely that you could consider putting this in the next version of the DLL?
Also, is it possible to stop 08 from flashing while the card is initiated?
For both of these modifications the firmware should be updated too. If only the DLL is modified, it can just assume the status of the card based on the last setting sent there. This is same as you are doing in your software.
For the readback there is no option in the firmware.
The firmware of the K8055 is rather old and frozen at the moment.
I think no modifications will be done any more. 
If new similar products will be developed in the future, this readback option will surely be there…
