K8055: project possible?

Last night, I had a crazy dream (see image):

Is this idea possible to realize?

I want to control 8 seperate High-Performance-LEDs (with the PC), depending on the current room temperature.

Screenshot of my “Dummy-Application”:

Unfortunately, regular dimmers cannot dim DC loads.
Furthermore, the K8006/K8029 is a ‘one-way’-system, so there is no feedback to the PC. In no way you can tell the current dim level.
You could use the K8004 (DC to PWM converter) and connect it to the analog out of the K8055 or K8061. Leds are always dimmed by means of a PWM signal. Your application requires a lot of analog outputs, so the K8055 can be ruled out. Check out K8061. The rest is up to you

Thanks for the fast response.

The K8061 has 8 analog outputs. But I have 8 LEDs. Is there a module in your catalog to extend K8061 with more outputs?
Or did I make a mistake in thinking?

In another topic I read something about a RGB controller coming early 2008.
