For some reason my k8055 board started acting up. It was working perfectly fine, and then all of a sudden it stopped connecting to my computer and the LD8 starting flashing 3 times then staying on. I didn’t unplug it, or even move it when this started. I had a ground wire running to ground then had some relays hooked up using the grounds through outputs, if that even matters. I’m in a bad spot since I HAVE to have this by Friday. Whenever I searched the boards I read it may be IC3, but there is no way I can get one of those that quickly. Could it be anything else that I could fix myself?
First you may change the USB cable.
If no help then you may check the USB connector and IC3 soldering.
Check also that the IC3 is properly in the socket (push it a little).
If you have a DVM (multimeter) you may check the voltage on pins 14, 15 and 16 of the IC3. As a ground reference you can use the USB connector metal cover.
I did try changing my usb cord. I’ll double check my solder points but I’m pretty sure they are fine. I’ll also check to make sure it is plugged in.
Thanks for help!
