K8055 - possible to use as simple logic probe?

I have a working K8055 and I also have a short-term need to analyze some TTL-level digital timing signals. (a 1PPS signal coming from a GPS) Is it possible to use the digital inputs as one would a logic analyzer, and if so, has anybody done it?

If its possible, I’d also like to interface it to gnuplot or simiar so I can see the signals over time.

I’m on OSX, not windows, so I’m using unix tools… I have a working K8055 driver and it exposes the various values…

Does this sound like something worth devoting a bit of time to?

The only limitation is that the sampling interval is 10ms due to the low speed USB limitations.
