K8055 output

I tried to wire my K8055 USB board to generate some pulses via a few channels to trigger some devices. But I found the output amplitude and response time very disappointing, the digital output can only deliver 0.6 V and the analogue output has a very slow rise/fall time.
I guess my questions are,

  1. How can I delivery 3.6+ V from the digital output? Do I need replacing the resistors to do it?
  2. Is there anyone who has managed use K8055 to function as pulse generators, to deliver pulses up to 100 Hz, 3.6+V? How did you do it?
  3. If this is not possible, what alternative approaches I should take? I need to have a few channels, synchronised.

Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

There is no voltage output from the K8055 digital and PWM outputs. These outputs are open collector NPN transistors. You have to use external voltage and add pull-up resistors from the digital outputs to the external voltage.

Here are some other examples of connection:

This clarifies a few my concerns. Thanks a lot.
