K8055 original firmware

Hi guys,

I did some experimenting with programming the chip of the k8055 board. Now I
put it back in the board after about a year, but ofcourse the original firmware isn’t on
it anymore. I might have backed it up back then, but I don’t know where I stored it if I did. Can
someone tell me or provide me with the original image?

I may be wrong but I think this chip is copy protected.
Even if you find what you think is a copy more then likely will not work.

So, how do I restore my K8055? Can’t Velleman provide
the image?

You may have to send them the PIC and they can reprogram it or exchange it for you.

However, there is open source third party firmware available. Please use the ‘search’-option on this forum.
