Hi, I recently bought a K8055 board but it doesn’t work properly under windows 7x64.
When I plug it in the USB the board will not be recognized. this goes on for about 4 to 20 times (or more) before windows recognizes the board. then when I restart the computer the problem stars all over again.
I’ve installed the 3.0 version drivers into system32, but that doesn’t work.
There seems to be a problem with the Windows driver to detect the hardware.
I’ve installed the 3.0 version drivers into system32, but that doesn’t work.
In 64-bit environment the K8055D.DLL must be copied to \Windows\SysWOW64 folder.
If you get the PC to detect the hardware then you may download this latest K8055 software package with the new K8055D.DLL version 4.0: velleman.eu/downloads/files/ … rsion4.zip
Thanks for your reply. I’ve installed the new .dll version on my computer in the correct folder. It works slightly better now. It’s now 1 out of 3 to 6 times that it will be recognized.
I’ve got a brand new cable for it. And the usb ports should be powerful enough to provide the power.
I’ve tried it on a 32bit XP computer. No problems there.
Windows 7 32Bit, Won’t work. So i think it has something tot do with windows 7. but i can’t figure out what
Yes. “USB device not recognized”(translated from dutch). that does on for about 6 to 10 times. Then it suddenly knows what it is…mmmm Windows 7 with Alzheimer disease?
