K8055 controlling electromagnet with sound

Hello guys,

sorry for the lack of knowledge in this matter but I hope you can help me. I would like to control strenght of an electromagnet based on either digital or analogue sound signal.

Is it possible to do so with K8055 and if so, could you please give me some pointers where to start?

Why don’t you connect the electromagnet to the output of an audio amp and feed the amp an audio signal?

Hi, thanks for the answer but could you expand on it a little bit? Is it basically how the speaker is wired?

Just hookup the electromagnet to the speaker output of the amp.
