Hi,
I think i may have brocken the counter on my K8055.
I dropped a +12V on the 1st digital input (by accident id like to piont out )
Now the board thinks that digital channel 1 is off always and challen 2 is always on.
Everything else works.
Is there a fix?
Thanks Rob
Hi,
Have you tried to swap IC2 and IC4?
This would only be a test.
If the chip is bad it will move the failure from the input D1 and D2 to the output D7 and D8.
If this happends then you will know that IC2 is at fault.
Hope this helps.
Hi,
D7?
It has 5 inputs so which is D7/D8?
D 1 and D2 i guess is the I1 and I2.
Is that right?
IC as in the chip is burnt? Can i replace it?
Hi,
Sorry about that I was reading from the schematic.
IC2 controls the inputs IC4 controls the outputs.
As I said before this is a test to identify if the IC2 (Input chip is bad)
If you swap IC2 and IC4 and if IC2 is at fault it will move the failure from I1 and I2 (inputs) to O7 and O8 (outputs)
can i buy the chips seperatly?
Part number is ULN2803.
After doing a search it looks like you should be able to get them.
Thanks for all the help
