I have a Velleman K8055 board I am using in a homemade security system. I also have a Visual Basic program on my computer I am using to control the board. Unfortunately, the computer must be connected to the board to run the program. For obvious reasons this is ineffective. I want to actually use my computer sometimes. I was wondering if it is at all possible to program the PIC on the board with my program.
Sorry, the K8055 doesn’t run as a ‘stand alone’ microcontroller board.
You may replace the PIC and program it with Microchip programmer or with Velleman EDU10 programmer.
