K8055 and Embedded Windows 7

Hello,

I can’t get K8055 card recognized in Wyse ThinClient, which has “Windows 7 Embedded Standard” operating system. After I connect the card into the USB slot, error message appears containing something like this: “Driver Software Installation” - “USB Input Device Failed”. Neither the K8055 demo application could not connect the card.

The same problem occurred with Windows XP Embedded. However, the card was recognized in PCs, which has Windows 7 Enterprise or Windows XP.

Have you got any experience using K8055 in ThinClients and/or Embedded Windows, either XP or 7? Are the embedded Windows versions lacking some dlls K8055 needs? I checked that the Windows system folder contains dlls you listed in post viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5155&hilit=hid

hello,

got previous problem here, installed full version of windows 7 profesional, and no problems.
Seems that dot.net is missing in embedded and not installed using update’s
after installing this it should solve your problem.
