Hello, I was wondering if anybody could possibly help me.
Im trying to use one of the analog outputs(used as an extra digital output) of the K8055 to trigger the clk input of the 74LS374, so far without any success. The 74LS374 works when using a digital output channel, but these 8 digital outputs are already in use.

The reason to this problem may be the 1k5 resistor at the analog output of the K8055.
Have you checked the low level at the clock input of the 74LS374 ?
Should be <0.8V.
Other possible reason may be too slow rise time.
There are no specs for the rise time in the 74LS374 datasheet anyhow…
Thank you for the help. The problem was due to the rise time on the analog outputs, have had to add a delay into the program which gets it to work.
