K8048 - The settings dont match the PIC in the programmer

I have two computers at my disposal.

I can use my old PC to upload the HEX-file to the PIC and it works. But on my new Windows 7 machine I get the error: The settings dont match the PIC in the programmer

I checked the IRQ’s in Device Manager and the COM1 port is the only one on IRQ4

What else should I check?

Did you decrease already the communication speed ?
Maybe other processes use this port ?
