When i try to write the demo HEX file to the Pic supplied with the kit i get the following error message: “NO PIC ON BOARD, PROGRAMMER MUST BE SET TO PGM MODE, PIC TYPE MISMATCHED WITH SOFTWARE”. When i put power on the board all LEDs act as they supposed to but LED2 stays on. When i first put power on the board the jp3 and jp4 jumpers were bridged to each other(incorrectly), could this have damaged something?
Please search into this forum, there are a lot op toppics about this.
I think, it couldn’t be damaged.
Check the power supply (15V at least, serial cable,…).
