K8042: poti question

Hi,
i plan to build a powersupply with the K8042.
i would like to replace the trimmer-poti’s on the pcb with some multi-turn potis on the frontpannel of the case.

now the problem: i can’t find multi-turn-potis with 2k2 Ohm

2kOhm s are rare, 5koms are quite usual.

can i use 5kohm potis?

You could use 5K, but the adjust range will not be ideal.
Make sure that the potmeter can handle the dissipation (adj. current approx 10mA).
