hello
i have this timer and was wondering what need to do , in order to drive 24vac 150w halogen lamp
i suppose that for timer trigger changing the voltage divider R3+R4/R1 = 450k/10k and R8+R11/R19 = 450k/220k will do the job
as for the halogen lamp i am going to change fuse and thyristor if cannot handle about 6A that the halogen lamp is
i have made some calculation for the new voltage divider
Vout=(R2*/R1*+R2*)Vin (R2 and R1 refers to the divider formula not the actual resistor of the circuit)
thyristor trigger
for 220v
Vout=(10k/450k)x220V= 4.88V=4.90V
so for 24V input voltage with R2*=10k and R1 about 40k and so on for the other divider that supplies dc to the tranzistors
has anyone tried to make this change ?
am i missing something ?
