Hello,
Where can I get the VK8035 Pic16c57 programmed chip?..I think mine is bad…I am getting a error 2…
Thanks,
Jimmy
Most likely there is an assembly problem around the pushbuttons. Check your assembly.
i need one of those chips as well. iv built 2 of this kit. one of my chips is dead.iv checked the assembly and swapped the chips . i need a chip how do i get one please ?
Your Velleman distributor (i.e. the place where you bought your kit) is the best place to look for spare parts.
Most likely, they will not stock them though, they will have to order them for you.
!!! ever been to maplin?
im guessing that theyll say
1 you bought it ages ago where the receipt,
2 self assembely kits are not coverd by maplins guarantee
3 its a special velleman chip so go ask velleman, to sell you a new chip
- You do not need a receipt to buy a spare part. A receipt is needed for warranty claims, which is surely not the case here.
- All Velleman kits are covered by a 2 year warranty (the kit, not your soldering work).
- They can special order the part, the part number is VK8035. If they are not able or willing, please return defective part to:
