K8031 PC oscilloscope compatable with Express Card?

Hi
Following what i have researched it seems these PC scope kits will function with several Parrallel Port PCMCIA cards. Has anyone managed to get one to function with a Express Card as i have purchased one from Maplins (STLab Express card). But it calls itself a USB Printing support devise and won’t give a LPT port name suitable to run with the software which only allows choice of three ports 278, 378, 3BC. I am running a newly purchsed lap top with windows 7 which seems to run the current software when opened in windows 95 mode.

Any info would be greatly appriated as kit K8031 is still being sold with very limited compatability

Thanks mathew

You have first to check what is the LPT port address of the parallel port card.
You’ll find it using the Device Manager: The address is the first hexadecimal value of the I/O range.
Then enter this address to the combo box on the PcLab2000SE startup screen.
