I assembled 6 kits and 3 worked well. 2 appeared to have soldering errors, one short circuit and one switch not making a contact.
So that was easily solved, but the last one: whatever I checked, soldering was OK!!
After quite some testing it appeared that on the PCB there was a short circuit on the tracks! See the photos. After I carefully scratched away the faulty trace with a sharp knife, it worked. I have 6 working versions now!
If I had a faulty PCB, I think there will be more in the field! So, if yours doesn’t work, make sure you check for this…
