K8023 PC Control Question

First off I’m a newbie when it comes to all this stuff …

But I have a K8023 kit and would like to be able to control this via my laptop. (Such as when I press the up arrow key it would turn on input 1 ect. ect.) It looks like I would have been able to use a K8000RS kit to do do this but it is no longer available. Can the K8055 used to control the K8023 in the manner in which I need?

I’m not asking how to do it, only if it can be done. If not is there some other velleman product I can use to do this?

Yes, you can control the ‘transmitter’ part of the K8023 with our K8055.

would it be able to do all ten inputs on the transmiter though?

and as far as using the keybpard to run the transmiter that is something that a program would have to be written for right?
