K8022 Receiving Problem

I have a receiving problem with the K8022 (Passive preamp with RF remote control remote control ): The Problem is that the K8022 only works if the transmitter ( K6706B/G) only works is inside a distance of 1 meter in a RF clear environment. I have checked the transmitter is it looks strong enouph: 50 dBmicro Volt: The same as my car key transmitter. Measured with a HF spectrum analyzer. I have checked and double check the RF receiving circuit with the BF199 (an oldie) of the K8022 but i could not found errors. What could i do more? Velleman specifies 15 meters? If it does so, icould use more kits.

If you have a scope, you can adjust the tuning coil for max. sensitivity (measure on output of first op-amp stage).
If this does not help, we can offer inspection/repair if you return the units.
