I have had a k8020 preamplifier for some time. It has been working without problems so far but now it has developed a fault. At power-on the buttons may work for some minutes but fail to respond properly after a while. Most often the buttons do not respond properly even after power-on.
I have checked that all voltages are correct. The PIC gets 5V and the RC oscillator is working. So I assume the PIC is faulty.
What is the procedure to order a new PIC?

I sent my PIC to the above address over a month ago. I haven’t received any replacement nor have anyone contacted me (I included my email-address). Is there an email address for Velleman Tech. Department or some other means to contact them?

Most likely, it got lost in the mail.

You have received an email.
I received the new PIC last week. At first it had the same symptoms as the original PIC. However after disassembling the main PCB from the chassis I noticed some grounding issues (loose nuts). Fixing those also solved the problem with the PIC.
