Some days ago I purchased kit 8020 (pre-amplifier).
During the assembly steps I found myself in doubt as to how to mount the 14 REED relais.
The manual refers to note the position of the “notch”on the relais. At the same time the manual also advises to use the pictures on the packing box (although these may not be 100% correct).
The relais have 4 pins which can be mounted in 2 ways. In absence of a clear (unambiguous) reference to the corresponding detail on the PCB I am in doubt as to how to mount the REED relais.
Attached the relevant information which I copied from the assembly manual.
Type of relais in the manual differs slightly from the ones supplied:
Manual specifies type “VR05051AS or similar”. Supplied is relais type VR05R051AS.
Question:
Can you please advise exactly how the relais should be mounted on the PCB, with clear reference to the detail on the PCB (should the notch of the REED relais match with the little rectangle on the PCB relais symbol?). Do you perhaps have a photograph which shows the detail clearly?

Suggestion to Velleman:
Add the respective detail of the PCB to the assembly manual for improved clarity.
This also applies to steps 4 on page 7 and step 10 on page 11 of the manual.
Or better still: add a little photograph.
