K8020 & k8040

I have been building the above kits and they have been working fully satisfactory for the last 2 years :smiley:

Now I want to extend my system with 2 subwoofers (I allready have the speakers itself).

For this project I’m considering the K8081 Kit. My 2 questions are quite simple:

  • What is the maximum power in 8 Ohm
  • Can I use long interlinks ( about 2 meter) for connecting this kit directly to the K8040 ??

p.s pitty that you don’t have an active filter in your progam.

K8081: 70Wrms in 8 ohm
2m should not be a problem.
Please take a look at the K8077 .
It features an identical amp circuit as the K8081 plus a filter section and auto turn on.

Hello,

Is it possible to buy the filters and the “auto power on” circuits of the k8077 separately to use them with the k8181 or k8060 ?

I already have a sub enclosure and driver.
