K8019: supported access cards and key fobs

Hello support!

I successfully assembled my K8019, it is working fine with the two delivered in this kit access cards.
Now I’m looking for additional access cards, better key fobs.
You are proposing on velleman.eu/products/view/?id=417254 two products: HAA2866/TAG and HAA2866/TAG2.
My preffered product would be HAA2866/TAG2, but it is difficult to get it in my country (Germany).
So, I took the technical characteristics from K8019 (EM4100 compatible) and from HAA2866/TAG2 (125 kHz RFID Proximity EM-Card, 64 bit) and tried for two times to buy key fobs with the same charachteristics from 3rd party supplier.
Unfortunately, no key fobs were working.
Are there some additional parameters, which I should take in consideration?
Please suggest!

Kind regards,
akula

Dear support,
can someone of you give me a valuable feedback? - i think, my question must be not difficult for you, specialists…

Do you have a product link to the EM4100 card(s) that did not work for you?

Have you ever tested the K8019 successfully with a card to know if the device is indeed functional? (eg. soldered correctly)

How do you know the card is not accepted, what kind of beeps do you get, if at all?

Are you using a Windows 10 computer connected to the K8019?

As I already said: I successfully assembled my K8019, it is working fine with the two delivered in this kit access cards, exactly like described in the user guide.

I tried this two key fobs from 3rd party supplier:
amazon.de/gp/product/B00REF … UTF8&psc=1
amazon.de/gp/product/B00REF … UTF8&psc=1

I know, that the key fobs are not working, because no beeps, no LED indication was initiated by these key fobs.

I tried the key fobs with Windows 10 computer connected to the K8019 and also without any connection to computers as well.

this one is also not working:
i-keys.de/de/transponder/125 … fisch.html

I kindly ask you:
Which parameter should I take into consideration, when I’m looking for additional keys or key fobs for K8019?
Is this information forbidden for public?
Or is the K8019 compatible only with original Velleman keys HAA2866/TAG and HAA2866/TAG2?

Currently, I do not have any of those badges to test with so I am quite baffled by why it would not work. All of those RFID keychains are probably identical to HAA2866/TAG2.

Is the K8019 only powered via USB or do you also have a power source plugged in? The K8019 requires an external power source, the USB cable is only for communication. This could be a possible problem.

Also, when connected to a Windows 10 computer, the K8019 completely locks up after about 2 badges. It then becomes impossible to scan any other cards, unless you remove power. So this could also be a problem. It works perfectly though with any other version of Windows.

It would not hurt posting pictures of the soldering side of the K8019 so we can check it for any other problem which may reduce the margin of error.

My K8019 is perfectly working with external power, with Win7 PC, with Win10 PC (with problem you faced), but only using the included in this kit two HAA2866/TAG
It shows, that the kit is soldered properly, and pictures from the soldering side will not help (nevertheless I made photos, but see here no possibility to attach these).

Furthermore, the K8019 is already integrated in my system and it works, but only with original Velleman HAA2866/TAG
I need for my use case more key fobs, at least five.

It must be something in the parameters, which can (or not) be accepted by K8019.

It can not be, that all the tested key fobs (in total ca. 30 from three different suppliers) are broken!
