The K8018B kit I purchased is missing two of the 5X5X5 cube LEDs (blue). I completed assembly of 4-levels and have only 23 LEDS remaining to complete the 5th level which needs 25 LEDs. I need the LED part number detail (specification) to hopefully purchase these LEDs locally. Can you help me with this information?
2/27/17 Update: I found LED information on a post by member crestlinebulldog that indicates the LEDs are Kingbright L-3BC. A search of this information provides no results. A breakdown of the number may be: LED-3mm Blue Clear lens
On a Kingbright site I found this LED:
Round Series Blue LED, 455 nm 3mm(T-1), Round Lens Through Hole package Mfr. Part# L-934MBC. I believe this LED is the correct one. If not please let me know the correct Kingbright LED part number…Appreciate your support. Thanks much!
2/27/17 second update: The 2 missing LEDs in the kit are being mailed directly to me by Velleman Tech Support in Fort Worth, Texas. No forum support needed at this time. M Hacker
