This project was probably beyond my skill level but I nevertheless have given it a try. The USB LED is bright and I can even upload the default scene to the cube. The LED’s do not light up but the moment I put power on the cube the USB LED dims. Is that correct?
Can you provide LINKS to SHARP & HI-RES pics of your assembly (both solder- and componentside) so that we can take a look and maybe spot a problem.

Sorry, due to the quality of the pictures we cannot spot any problems however we do notice that a lot of solder joints need rework.
Please inspect each solderjoint. Make sure to heat part lead and the board, so that solders flows well. Also, make sure solderings to not touch eachother. Beware of ‘cold’ joints.
