K8016 compatibility with K7103

Hi,

I am the owner of a K7103 scope that needs an LPT port to be connected to a PC. I am currently commanding this scope with the WinDSO_FG32 (version 1.25) software under Windows xp.

I would like to complement my little lab with a function generator. Considering the different menus and options of the WinDSO_FG32 software, it seems have been written to drive the K8016 function generator in conjunction with the K7301 scope.

As I plan to buy a K8016 kit, I would like to know if I am right or not.

Are the K7103 and the K8016 able to share the same parallel port and to be commanded simultaneously with the WinDSO_FG32 software ?

Running the K7103 and the K8016 with the WinDSO_FG32 software you get also nice Bode Plotter (Circuit Analyzer) option for measuring the frequency response of amplifiers, filters, and other networks.
