K8015 triggered via transistor

Hello there.
Is there any way i can trigger my K8015 with a BJT BC547 transistor?
I have a 1.8v with a 1k resistor to the base. I’m feeding 12v to the k8015 board, and i was wondering if there is anyway i could make it work to trigger it.

I just can’t change base voltage.
Also tried to permanently close the trigger circuit and use the bc547 to feed power to the board (i was giving 12v to the board, outputting the “negative” to the collector and putting the emitter to ground) but i had no success (i think it was because the k8015 has a diode bridge).

Do you have any ideas i could use?
Thank you.

Maybe the best solution will be a optocoupler.

If the GND of the K8015 and the GND of the 1.8V are not the same a transistor will give issue.

It’s working with a bjt bc547 bypassing sw1 (emitter to ground and collector do the + side of the circuit)
Both devices are sharing gounds.
I’ve tried one 4n25 but couldn’t have it working with 1,8v.

I’m not sure about what stress is it putting on devices by sharing grounds…
