K8015 problem

I am trying to use 5 k8015 as activators for a self made anti burglar alarm in my firm.

When the alarm is activated (it works via a pc and 7 K8000 cards as input and output controllers) the output commands 2 K2633 cards.
One of these output is meant to close the contacts of these 5 k8015 used as short interval timers that command the internal lights of the firm, creating a “quasi strobo” effects of the whole firms lights as a further deterrent, as they are set with different and very short delay 1 and 2 (10/2 seconds, 15/3 seconds and 20/4 seconds).
Any card is meant to command the contact of one Osram controller (as the light are batteries of fluorescent auto dimmerable lights), simulating the on/off normal switch as it is put in parallel with it.

My problem is this:
As soon as I give main to the k8015, there is present a contact between Common and Normally Open (i mean Open!) contacts in the relay, so the lights go on even if there is no such command from the alarm via K8000 and K2633.
More, I cannot put the transient suppressor jumper as it immediately closes the circuit.

Maybe it is any problem related to the osram controller? are they too much sensitive? or maybe some unwanted loop can close the circuit?

Can You help me?
Maybe using a diode in the relay command could help?

I’m not so good in drawing a wiring diagram, sorry, but if You think really necessary I’ll try to do it.

But how can I post it? As an attachemnt? I haven’t see any “attach” command here?

Please disregard all the informations about the K8000’s and the K2633’s, they were only for information about the whole project. (one K8000 output commands one K2633 relay card to close the connections toward 5 K8015 SK3, like a push button…)

The problems are related only to K8015’s cards:

As soon as I give them the alimentation, Common and Normally Open (i mean Open!) contacts in the output relays (SK4) are connected, so the lights go on even if there is present no such command on SK3 (checked with tester, no connection is present).

More, I cannot put the transient suppressor jumper (SK1 on C-NO) as it immediately closes the circuit.

Is it possible that the problem arise from the osram Multi dim controllers that each card commands? are they too much sensitive? or maybe some unwanted loop can close the circuit?

Some questions (the same in my other post as info request on K8015…)

a) is it correct that the led ld1 is on as soon as the board is connected to alimentation, or it has to be on only when also the push putton is pressed(SK3 closed)?

b) which is the function of the board push button sw1?

c) which is the correct soldering orientation of sw1? (it is possible that my problems could be related to a wrong orientation of it?)

FYI, there are two mistakes in the manual:

a) in the assembling sequence, the first diode has to be 1n4148, but in the real assembly strip it is only 6th, being the first present the zener zd1.

b) in the learning mode programming, it is asked to set the dipswitches of sw1 on , but the dipswitches bank is sw2.

Make sure you’ve selected the correct timer mode.
SW1 and SW3 have the same function (SW1: on-board button, SW3: external pushbutton).
SW1 cannot be mounted the wrong way

Thanks, I’ll check again all the cards one by one (in my cards LD1 is always on) and report.

Two more question:
a) it is possible to program the delay times using SW1 push button, as You stated that is the same as using SK3?
b) in case of no initial programming and using the card as “interval timer”, the initial state should be off?

Programming is possible with SW1 / SW3

Initial state is ON.

I checked all the cards and programmed them again.

Now they work, I don’t know exactly what was wrong, but now all is ok.

I had also to invert the alimentation connections, but I don’t know if that was the cause.

Anyway, again, now all is ok.
